When the anchorman says &quot;but you also started praying [...]&quot;, you could replace this with anything and it would make as much as sense, like &quot;but you also started wearing your panties inside-out&quot;. 
 
I totally agree on why is religion the default explanation for things we don&#039;t understand??? It just undermines critical thinking, logic and reason. If there&#039;s no mistery, there&#039;s no question, if there is no question there&#039;s no investigation, if there&#039;s no investigation there&#039;s no discovery: ergo no progress, no science, no real USEFUL answers.

		<description>I knew people who believed that if anything bad happened it was because they did something wrong.  A non church-going uncle was in a bad car accident but came out unscathed.  When he was telling my mother this she said god must have been with you that day.   He got a funny look and told her that his sister (Holiness minister) had told him he was in an accident because of his evil ways. 
 
They are still both religious statements, I just it funny that they had polar opposite views. </description>
