Atheist Experience
For those of you lucky enough to live in the Austin area you may have see an show on public access called, “The Atheist Experience“. This show hosted by Matt Dillahunty is a live call in show discussing atheism.
Every Sunday at 4pm (Catch them live) The Atheist Experience (sponsored by the Atheist Community of Austin) helps to clear up misunderstandings about atheism and religion.
I regularly check out their youtube channel and you can find some great stuff there. There’s also a really good site that you all should check out call “Iron Chariots“. The website describes itself as a site to, “provide information on apologetics and counter-apologetics. We’ll be collecting common arguments and providing responses, information and resources to help counter the glut of misinformation and poor arguments which masquerade as “evidence” for religious claims.”
If you spend any time debating on religious forums, this is a good place to link them to when they make a horrible argument.
They also have a forum section and a blog if you’d like to discuss things with them. They invite anyone to come down to Austin and meet up with them after the show. My wife and I took them up on this offer and I have to say that they were very welcoming. They’re a great bunch of people and their doing a great thing.
